Still Life With Puppies
I think William felt slighted when I featured Cormac in an artistic pose. He appears to have produced his own psuedo-Flemish masterpiece.
Let’s see, we have two ride-on toys and two…no…three stuffed puppies and a blankie. All we’re missing is the ubiquitous bowl of fruit. He seems to have borrowed from Vermeer there, with the light entering the scene from the left side.
I am very pleased with this artistic promise.
No La-Z-Boys Here
I’ve had the debate with friends about whether or not it’s a person’s God-given right to recline his seat all the way on an airplane. Cormac is here to show you people that it’s perfectly possible to sleep sitting up, regardless of whether or not your seat reclines. As you can see, he’s even using his tray table.
I must say, though, the kid could probably use a good neck pillow right now. Also, he shows early signs of being one of those armrest hogs. Sorry ladies.
The Gift of Sleep — Any Sleep
Poor wee Cormac has the croup again (seriously? at age two? again?) and after two awful nights, we are sleep-walking adults who are dreaming of dreaming. Does that make any sense? Pass the coffee, please.
I like to think of Cormac like this:
Goofy seems a little surprised that Cormac would choose to sleep on the floor instead of this nice, comfy couch. However, he’s game to try anything.
Buzz is having more trouble adapting to this hard bed. He just…can’t…seem…to… RELAX!
I’m going to need some serious laughs to get through this day. Happy Monday, indeed.
