Guest Nappers #10 and #11
Ohhhh, do I have a great (super great) Friday surprise for you all.
You’ve seen solo naps. You’ve seen tandem naps. But a tandem twin nap? That is only possible thanks to the generous contribution of my friends Christy and Dave, who have identical twin boys (plus another boy…they deserve their own tandem naps. Stat.).
Two naps are better than one.
As you can see, these guys aren’t required to share a napping style just because they’re identical twins. You know – one facedown and the other comfortably face…up? I wonder if there was a cry of “Mom! He’s kicking me!” before the snooze ensued.
Enjoy this gorgeous springlike day and dream of brotherly harmony.
Over It, Already!
When even the littlest ones get ho-hum about the snowy weather, it’s time to start thinking about spring.
Snow days are such a snooze.
We don’t even live in a really snowy climate, and my youngest is already unimpressed by this wintry blast we’ve all experienced. Luckily, warmer temps are right around the corner…because I’m not sure how long he can keep this coat on without interrupting his sleep cycles.
Almost…MARCH…! Bring on the leprechauns.
Snoozing Sweethearts
Most people find Valentine’s Day is less about the dream and more about the reality…which in this case happens to be a dream, but let’s not confuse matters. If this picture shows what usually happens between you and your significant other, there might be a problem.

I remember lying down in a sunbeam in my brother’s room once when we lived in Nebraska and reading most of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader before falling asleep there…circa 1983.
